Grown
Folks Business
By
Victoria Christopher Murray
Imagine
after having been married for seventeen years to have your spouse
announce to you that they are in love with someone else, and that
person happens to be the same sex as them. Sheridan Hart is faced
with this when her husband, business partner, and father of their
two children, Quentin, announces that he is love with another man.
Can Sheridan survive the betrayal and surprise of Quentin's admission?
Sheridan turns to family and God to help her through this rocky
transition, and she wonders if it was all worth it.
Victoria Christopher Murray does another fabulous job in reaching
into the hearts of her readers. She is able to convey the strength
of hope, compassion, and understanding and how important it can
be in one's life. She shows how strong a female can be when faced
with personal adversity, especially when that adversity is part
of her family. Once again, Ms. Murray focuses on the strength of
faith, and she made it interesting to see how Sheridan's church
supported her and her husband's decisions regarding Quentin's bisexuality.
