Jigs
& Reels
By
Joanne Harris
Joanne Harris
has decided to take a different writing avenue with Jigs &
Reels, her first collection of short stories. As many of her
fans know, she has written and published short stories before but
has never compiled a collection. Jigs & Reels has twenty-two
short stories, ranging from suspenseful to magical to humorous,
each story carrying a vast array of feelings.
This reader was delighted
to find something different from the author's usual full-length
novel and to discover the depth of subjects that Ms. Harris is able
to write about while still managing to keep a reader's attention.
Each story holds its own place and adds to the delightful collection
with the depth the plot and characters that one can always expect
from Joanne Harris' work.
