Just
One Look
By P.J. Womack
Just
One Look, by P.J. Womack is a romance novel about two people
who experience a passionate bond the first time they meet and whether
this feeling is fleeting or a love that can last a lifetime.
Lauren
Rose believes that her father’s fatal heart attack was caused
by the heartbreak of losing his business. She vows to avenge her
father’s death by finding the responsible individual. Unfortunately,
she has no idea that she has met that very person at a cocktail
party and he is her “Mister Sexy.”
Victor
Raven is “Mister Sexy” and he also falls head over heels
in love with Lauren Rose. This is quite an unusual turn of events
for Victor who has been quite a “ladies man” since his
divorce. At the time Victor meets Lauren, the only female he wants
to be part of his life is his daughter Rachel. Victor has a bigger
problem than his confirmed bachelorhood to overcome. He knows about
Lauren’s vow to avenge her father and chooses to not tell
her about his involvement because he does not want to lose her.
Victor’s luck does run out and Lauren learns the truth about
Victor in a highly embarrassing manner. The question to be answered
is whether love can transcend the hurt and betrayal between these
two people who are truly meant for each other.
Just
One Look is an erotic romance with some graphic sexual language.
The story is light and entertaining but very predictable. I recommend
this book to readers who enjoy erotic romance.
