I would have enjoyed this book more if the author had fleshed out the characters. Contradictory information could make the reader feel less attachment to the characters. Great descriptions of settings and seamstress designs are peppered into the jarring plot. It is enjoyable to see popular songs streaming the story's events. The twists to finding love may keep readers interested in The Perfect Dress.
