The reader, Nancy Travis, is best known for her roles in Three Men and a Baby and on Becker with Ted Danson. Ms. Travis brings the characters to life and adds an interesting dimension to Hoffman's writing. I especially enjoyed the road trip the characters take with a gift of potato chips and soda pop to visit the elderly father... but the man is a dragon. The fast forward between today and and Alice Hoffman's fairy tale brings an enjoyment seldom found in current offerings.
