There is not enough to say about this book!  Truly amazing, it reads like the true life adventure it was.  Nicholas Clapp takes us to many lands in the near and Middle East as he searches for the origin of the Queen of Sheba.  We learn of her many legends in
Judaism and Islam.  Of the stories which glorified, then shunned her during the Middle Ages.  How her legend carried on into the early years of Hollywood and in the music of European masters.

He takes us into lands that are in turmoil, yet in some places that are tranquil, where Orthodox monks live peacefully next to Bedouin neighbors, and have for nearly 1500 years.  The search for Bilquis, as Islamic legend calls her, is complex, but the telling of the story is intriguingly logical.  This book is a must for those who love ancient tales, and the science of bringing them to life.  If you love this part of the world's history, Nicholas Clapp definitely wrote this book for you!
