Dry,
Up, With a Twist
The Humor, Irony and Chaos Behind Fine Dining
By John
A. Galloway, Jr.
Exile, not aspiration, is the force
that pulls an individual into fine-dining service . . .
At the
young age of fourteen, Galloway gets his first taste of working
in the restaurant business. He geared his dreams to focus on one
day becoming a Naval Aviator. Many obstacles prevent him from turning
his dream into a reality. When he realizes that they will never
take shape, he finds himself once again back at the work in fine
dining--there the adventure is about to begin!
John
A. Galloway has written a very unique novel. It begins as an autobiography
that provides the foundation needed to give the novel the strong
structure required, making it a smash hit. Second, the reader is
able to go inside the mind of a waiter and see what their thoughts
really lead, concerning their customers. Third, it shows how hard
work and determination combined will enable a person to get through
anything life throws their way. There is no better book written
in which an author has successfully used so many different types
of emotions. I feel anyone who takes the time to read this delightful
novel will be rewarded with a very realistic life experience.
