One Minute Manager

     One Minute Manager was first published in eighties. Having heard the newest audio, put out by HarperAudio and read by Eric Conger, I was greatly impressed by the simplicity of the advice and how following it can improve one's working and personal life.

     In the style of Confucius, Blanchard and Johnson presents the story of a young man seeking management skills. He is introduced to the Minute Manager who shares his ideas, then sends the young man on to his workers to hear more. Once the young man has heard it all, he heads back to the Minute Manager with questions about the One Minute Goals, the One Minute Praisings, and the One Minute Reprimands.

      I listened to the audio book twice, and I know I will listen to the authors' common sense advice again. The unabridged version is a quick and easy listen. I recommend it to parents, teachers, and business people.
