Romancing The Soul
By Dorothy
Thompson
People
come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When
you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do...
Finding your soul mate
is a journey deep into the unknown. It is traveled each day by those
who are in search of that special someone to complete their lives.
Until that unknown person is found, the journey is long and often
seems fruitless. Once discovered, it is well worth the wait.
Before
I read Dorothy Thompson's Romancing The Soul, I was unaware
that I lived with such shallow knowledge of what a true soul mate
consisted of and that they could be the love of your life. This
book thoroughly opened up my eyes to discover there are three types
of soul mates: Twin Flames, Karmic, and Companion. Each one of them
has their own unique purpose. The Twin Flames are the ones that
I thought were your true soul mates. It is the one person who holds
an eternal flame that your soul burns for each day. A Karmic soul
mate consists of people who enter your life in order to teach you
a very important lesson. Once their mission is complete, the individual
will often fade out of your daily life. The companion soul mate
can include your wife/husband, a friend or close confidante. Their
existence is to provide you comfort in hard times; it is the shoulder
you cry on in time of need. Unfortunately, some of these relationships
dissolve if ever a twin flame comes into existence, for destiny
is a fate that will not go unanswered.
What
makes this book so unique is that it offers so much variety with
more than sixty true stories. These heart-warming stories are broken
down into three different sections with true-life stories that actually
happened to the authors. All of them center around soul mates and
how they have changed each one of their lives. I feel that it accurately
captures the true essence of what the word "love" truly
means. I found myself caught in a roller coaster of emotions that
quickly went spinning out of control. Very highly recommended.
