Trace Your Roots with DNA
Using Genetic Tests to Explore Your Family Tree

By Megan Smolenyak Smolenyak and Ann Turner

Everyone has had at least one moment when they’ve either ran into or been introduced to someone with the same or a similar surname. Most of us have even seen someone on one of the cable news channels with the same surname and wondered, “Could we be related?” In Trace Your Roots with DNA, Smolenyak and Turner explore the ways one can use “genetic testing” to fill all the blank spots littering your family tree.

Having always been fascinated with both genealogy and genetics, this book had me hooked the moment I saw it. Smolenyak and Turner have presented an awesome way of being able to dig deep into the past using modern technology. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is as obsessed with finding out where they come from as I am.
