Take a step back to memory lane. Through the highly detailed pictures that are captured throughout the pages of Speed, Guts, and Glory: 100 Unforgettable Moments in NASCAR History, you can almost feel the electrifying energy flow throughout your body as you relive some of the greatest moments in racing history.

Speed, Guts, and Glory: 100 Unforgettable Moments in NASCAR History gives an up close and personal look into some of the best examples of NASCAR greatness. All the legendary names can be found in this jam packed book. The pages seem to come alive as you find yourself lost in the abundance of knowledge it contains. As an added bonus this book contains a DVD that has Jeff Gordon narrating the most exciting racing footage that has ever occurred. This was the perfect addition to make this book one that you wouldn’t want your library to be without.

One of the special features that I found was so noteworthy was the chapter devoted to Dale Earnhardt, best known as the Intimidator. I feel as if I grew up watching "the man in black, the man of steel." Weekends were spent glued to the television to see what antics Earnhardt would produce to help him win another race. His long list of victories included 76 career wins, while he won the Winston Cup championship seven times. Earnhardt was the type of driver who lived life on an aggressive edge. One of the saddest days in racing history was the day that he met with his untimely death at the Daytona 500 on February 18, 2001.

Any race fan will be overjoyed to find this book underneath their Christmas tree. Their eyes will surely light up with amazement as they scan each one of the memorable pages. Very highly recommended.
