The ten steps include the following: (1) identify the problem; (2) make a quality decision to overcome the problem; (3) find your title deed promise from God; (4) listen to the word; (5) meditate on God’s word; (6) learn to use confession effectively; (7) act on the word; (8) apply the pressure of patience; (9) wait for God’s timing; and (10) expect the answer.

Dollar suggests that a person can use this method to attack any problem he has in his spiritual life, though the plan also would work with the study of the Bible in general. With each step, Dollar explains what he means by each step and gives ample biblical quotes to illustrate his meaning.

Dollar uses an effective method in presenting material of this nature: repetition. For example, the definition of faith, "For faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen," is used many times in his discussion.

As is sure to happen to other listeners, there were instances where I did not fully agree with Dollar on his interpretation of the biblical quotes, but that does not detract from the steps. The listener can draw his own conclusions, after he has finished all the activities. It was nice to have an audio version of the program, but this method might pose a few problems when a listener tries to get all the questions and suggestion on paper while listening to the CD’s. The book is available in hardcover, audio CD, and audio download.

This program is an effective way to get more out of your Bible study, and will be useful to anyone interested in solving problems by using the Bible.
