While Zoe’s suggestions to keep a natural year-round tan and always wear five-inch heels work better for healthy young starlets than middle-aged soccer moms, every woman who cares about her appearance can find at least a few useful ideas in this book. While the brief text is easy-to-read and often repetitive, this hardcover book looks much like a glossy magazine. Beautiful color illustrations (usually of Zoe engaging in some glamorous activity) and dazzling celebrity photographs clearly illustrate what’s going on in the narrative. For example, when the author describes "The Standard Beauty Pageant Pose," she includes photos of Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Garner demonstrating the look. Likewise, she provides photographic support for "The Little Black Dress," "Leopard Accessories," "Sunnies" (stylish sunglasses), and more.

Part memoir, part how-to, Style A to Zoe is an eclectic mix (much like Zoe’s accessories) intended to bring a little Hollywood glamour to your neighborhood.
