Stephanie Plum strikes again. This time her assignment for bail enforcement is Eddie DeChooch. Eddie is a semi-retired mob guy who has just gotten arrested for contraband cigarettes. Eddie is also dating Stephanie's flirty Grandmother Mazur.

Things soon begin to intensify. Eddie easily eludes capture, but leaves behind the bullet-riddled body of Loretta Ricci in his storage shed for Stephanie to find. Stephanie's car gets smashed, which is nothing new and Vinnie, her slimy boss, loans her a Harley to ride, much to the delight of Stephanie and Grandma Mazur. Somehow Stephanie's friends Mooner and Dougie get involved, and Dougie has disappeared. Through it all is the sexual tension between Stephanie and Joe, her on-again, off-again policeman boyfriend, and Ranger, the mysterious bad-boy bail enforcement agent.

Books one through six were great fun! Seven Up does not disappoint. Each time Ms. Evanovich releases a new book it is cause for celebration.
