If these are just your everyday
people, then I hope I am anything but. Julia and her husband Paul are struggling
to get by, stuck in jobs that they aren't satisfied with. To relieve tension
every Friday night, Julia and Paul meet up with John and Lizzie at their favorite
bar. Although this is usually fun, this Friday there is an odd tension running
between John and Lizzie. Julia, confused by their odd behavior, is even more
shocked to see Lizzie pick up a stranger and leave the bar with him. The next
time that Julia sees
Lizzie she knows that things have changed and not one of them will ever be the
same. Betrayal, blackmail and craziness have taken over their lives and on top
of it all they have to figure out if they can all trust each other!
Just Your Everyday People is an excellent suspense novel. The Yagers turn the tension on in the very beginning but unlike some other authors, they also know how to turn the tension off without losing your attention. They give you a chance to catch your breath. They have skillfully mastered the art of writing a suspense novel. The writing is tight and the characters were extremely realistic. This book will make you want to check if your doors are locked. This is a great book to occupy your mind for a couple of hours.
