Buhrer, MyShelf.Com When the plane headed
for Boston crashed in the White Mountains of New Kylie insists that she and the other survivors were hiking over the mountains before they were rescued even though they were found in the plane. None of the survivors substantiate her story. She also claims to have seen a raven perched on the plane's wing before the crash. Her claims are attributed to posttraumatic stress. But she continues to see the raven as a malevolent spirit as the people she knows in good health are dying. She walks a fine line between insanity and danger. This is a haunting and
compelling story. The descriptions of Kylie's feelings are treated in
depth with possible meanings behind them. The characters are well developed
and are real people. The battle against Death is very tense. |
