Dead Reckoning
By Gordon Kessler

Special Agent Janelle Sperling, nicknamed "Spurs," is sent undercover on board the Navy ship, the USS Atchinson, to find out about a possible drug ring that may be funded by Arab terrorists. A sailor is dead and his family wants to know what happened. Spurs is determined to find the killers and crack the conspiracy, but things are not what they seem. As she searches for another undercover contact on board, strange things begin to happen. The truth is more terrifying than she originally imagined. The terrorists aren't dealing in drugs; they are dealing in human lives. Spurs stumbles on a plot that could kill thousands of Americans. Nothing is as it seems and no one is who they seem to be. Spurs must find the truth before it's too late. Her life is on the line and she has no idea who she can trust.

The plot of Dead Rekoning constantly twists and turns. Just when you think you know what's going on, there's another surprise. It is well-written and fast paced. Plenty of suspense, espionage, and edge-of-your-seat action. Gordon Kessler is a superb writer and his new offering won't disappoint!
