Is Nothing Sacred?
By Walter von Wegen

What will New York and the world be like in 2044? Is Nothing Sacred? takes an in-depth look at what terrorism, the Olympics, and New York City would be like. Readers are introduced to Donovan, Hayte, Shrini, and Dietrich, who are members on the NYPD who are faced with several unknown robbers who have a mysterious way of getting away. A major subplot to this story is a mysterious head of a well-known American politician who is washed up in Italy.

Is Nothing Sacred? is a great combination of mystery, science fiction, and thriller. The science fiction component is not unrealistic and takes the ideas of what has been happening today (i.e. cloning) to a higher level. The mystery of the robberies is well developed and not disclosed until the end, where who and what the robbers have done in each robbery will intrigue the reader. The story is fast-paced and keeps the reader intrigued with several minor subplots of what is happening in the world (i.e. the Olympics).
