Wrapped Up In Crosswords
Crossword Mysteries
By Nero Blanc

It’s the holiday season in Newcastle, Massachusetts. As usual, P.I. Rosco, Police Lt. Al and forensics expert Abe are collecting toys from the local businesses. Dressed as Santas they hit the road and find themselves in a holiday mix up with the Staties (state police) when three convicts breakout and are seen wearing Santa suits.

The personal side, Rosco is trying to find the perfect gift to show Belle how much he loves her. Their dogs, Gabby and Kit, know what the gift is, and they are not happy. The two try to show it and hope the humans catch on. Also, when Belle and Rosco’s small social group plays Secret Santa (gift exchange), one friend plays cupid. Some worry it will backfire and cause more damage.

“Wrapped Up In Crosswords” is a light, entertaining mystery full of pleasant characters, including the dogs who have just as much to say as their masters. The authors’ also includes plenty of crosswords to enjoy once the mystery is over.

Husband and wife team, Cordelia Frances Biddle and Steve Zettler, are Neor Blanc. Together they’ve written nine Crossword mysteries.
