Aphrodite's Redemption
The Lion Roars

by John Hoffert

This book is the sequel to The Zero Factor. Aphrodite's Redemption - The Lion Roars begins about two months after the assassination attempt on John and the abduction of Kim that climaxed that novel. John and Kim had known each other earlier, but went their separate ways for six years. Here we find out what happened to them during that hiatus, and about the secret that Kim is afraid will jeopardize John's presidential campaign. John has secrets of his own.

The man that was responsible for the assassination attempt on John, and Kim's abduction is still very much in the picture and now he wants Kim back for his very own. He has kidnapped eleven victims during the previous eleven years, and is planning to, once again, abduct Kim. This is year twelve, and Kim will be his twelfth kidnapping...the last one; she's where it all started. He's spent years waiting for Kim and is totally preoccupied by his plans for her.

This is a psychological thriller of evil and eroticism that is a thoroughly enjoyable story; exciting and fast paced, with great characters and a plot that will keep you reading all night. If you let John Hoffert take you inside the mind of the frightening villain in this story, count on nightmares as your reward.

John Hoffert is definitely an author to watch. Volume three in the series, The Time of Reckoning - The Lion Strikes will be coming out in November 2005, and I can't wait to read it.
