Lyn Hamilton writes about a cursed
tea-set and gives readers a recipe for Almond Cake. Parnell Hall's
series character - the puzzle lady - gives a lesson in Motive, Opportunity
and Means at a luncheon. William Moody's character suffers writer's
frustration and the author tops it off with a salmon recipe. My
favorite short story is "Cocktails with the Corpse" by
Mary Jane Maffini. It's a light mystery filled with wit.
Readers will find some of the stories
witty, some slightly complex, and some more entertaining than the
others, but all are enjoyable.
