Dig
A Morgue Mama Mystery

by C.R. Corwin

Dolly Madison Sprowls is known as the "Morgue Mama" behind her back. Dolly or "Maddy" as she is called by friends is a woman who has been working the local paper for years. She keeps track of all the news articles and transfers them so that reporters can later use them for reference material. While an interesting job in itself it's the murder of her old college friend Gordon Sweet that provides Maddy with her most interesting self appointed job.

Even though her friends and co-workers wish she'd stop meddling. Maddy can't help but dig around to see who could have possibly murdered such a nice man. Professor Gordon was on an archeological dig at the local dump at the time of his death. Somehow Maddy feels it may be connected to an earlier murder that occurred during their time in college together.

Can Maddy connect all the dots and find Gordon's murderer? Will the police cut her off before she finds herself in trouble? With colorful characters, Morgue Mama and her friends make for a wonderful mystery ride with stops to look back at their old college life and the lives they are leading now. Will the past provide clues to Gordon's murder? If it does Maddy will be the one to find out.
