The Good Guys

By Joe Pistone, Bill Bonanno, David Fisher
Read by Joe Pistone, Bill Bonanno

Professor, professor, who's got the professor?

With the Oil for Food program in today's news and the recent attraction in mafia figures, The Good Guys 1980s storyline reads like a contemporary one. FBI agents O'Brien and Russo are looking for a missing Russian language professor named Gradinsky, but so is San Filippo, a gangster. What does the mafia want with a Russian professor? And why is the FBI working so hard to find him as well? Finding the answers is a suspenseful, entertaining ride.

Narrators of the audio book are Bill Bonanno and Joe Pistone. The reading seems a bit stilted at first, but eventually begins to flow. It's an entertaining listen, perfect for readers who enjoy mafia-type reads. Expect some foul language and the occasional bit of odd humor. It's a lively listen, so remember those headphones.
