Radio
Activity
By
Bill Fitzhugh
Bill
Fitzhugh has done it once again. This time he has taken Rick Shannon,
a DJ who just recently lost his job and moves back to Mississippi
in order to take on a new shift from a DJ who goes missing. There
is a whole lot more to this story. Rick soon gets caught up on the
former DJ's disappearance. He finds mysterious things in his new
home and is greeted late at night by "big" strangers.
There are plenty of suspects for Rick to chose from but also determining
who he can trust proves difficult for him.
Bill
Fitzhugh has been able to incorporate his love of classic rock and
his love for writing mysteries in a way that most other authors
would fail at. If someone were to make soundtracks of books, this
one would be a keeper for all classic rock fans and not just the
fans that love Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven." The
small town radio station is perfect for this type of mystery. Unfortunately
Radio Activity is not as humorous as some of Bill Fitzhugh's
other great reads although it keeps readers interested and on their
toes throughout the book.
