Silent Witness

By Rebecca Forster

Josie Baylor-Bates is an attorney who takes on a case that very well may change everything in her life. Her current boyfriend Archer is an ex-police officer charged with the murder of his stepson, someone that Josie never knew even existed. Archer is full of secrets about his past life with his wife who died from cancer shortly after her sons’ death two years ago.

Maybe the Silent Witness is the truth. What will they have to live with when all the lies have been uncovered and the truth comes to light? Josie will have her own problems to deal with as she unravels the mystery of what happened to Archer’s stepson and what Archer’s wife really meant to him. She also has taken on the responsibility of a previous client’s teenage daughter.

Silent Witness is a fast-paced legal thriller. You won't know who did what and why till you turn every page. Why would the boy’s father wait two years to pursue Archer? Josie will have to work fast if she thinks that she can help in spite of the truths he’s failed to tell her. Josie is a very interesting character and one you'll want to get to know.
