Three Can Keep A Secret

by Judy Clemens

After losing Howie, her long time friend and farm hand, in a motorcycle accident, Stella must hire someone new to help with the dairy farm. The sooner the better since Stella is still getting over injuries from the accident. When Lucy Lapp applies for the job, she seems like the perfect person, even though there is something secretive about the death of Lucy's husband. Especially when the phone calls begin, warning Stella that she needs to look back into Lucy's history. However, Stella chooses to make her own opinions of people although she does do a little searching on her own.

Stella's friend Lenny seems to be having problems of his own. She is surprised when he starts behaving as if he does not want to speak to her. Even more surprising is when Lenny wants to meet with the Detective, although he soon changes his mind. Something is going on with Lenny, Stella is sure, but she cannot figure out what. With strange things happening around other motorcycle riders, and when Lenny's business partner is nearly killed, Stella knows that they need to find out what is really going on-before something happens to Lenny.

With so much going on with the people around her, and trying to keep the dairy farm going, Stella proves again what a strong, caring woman she is.

Three Can Keep A Secret is an amazingly magnificent read that will have the reader unable to put the book down. Stella proves once again that she is the type of person you would want on your side as she tries to help each of her friends find closure with their past. With each turn of the page, you will want to find out more. With a wonderful plot and amazing characters, it is easy to see why Ms. Clemens is an Agatha Award Nominated Author. With a surprising ending, this is one book for the keeper shelf.
