The Collector

by Michele Galindez

Abigail Winchester owns a neat little antique shop in the small town of Somerset, Kentucky. Her life is going well and she is quite satisfied with the way things are until, as her Grandfather is passing away, he implores her to find a tin box. Inside that box is a secret letter that will rock Abigail's world, as she knows it, to the very core.

What should she do about the knowledge her Grandfather has passed on to her in this letter? Family secrets are uncovered that not only concern her life but could change the lives of several other people, some very close to her and some almost totally unknown.

Abigail's world is in a turmoil and she is contemplating what to do about these secrets when the complications triple. A handsome man named Ben walks into her store and informs her that both her house and her store are about to be sold. She must find not only a place to live, but a place to relocate her business-her very livelihood. What will she do now?

Ben, the stranger bearing this bad news, quickly becomes the one person she despises most in all the world. So why does she feel an attraction to the one man she should now hate beyond all others? Abigail must rely on her strong faith to help her make these decisions that will affect her life and the lives of others forever.

The Collector by Michelle Galindez was a very gripping book that held this reader's attention from page one. Her dilemmas and the way she handled them was inspiring. This was a book I would gladly lend and recommend to others.
