Partners in Crime novel, No. 3

by Jacey Ford

Three beautiful ex-FBI agents, Aimee, Daphhne and Raine have founded a security firm, Partners in Crime. Their latest job is to uncover a plot against America's top CEOs.

Daphne has been assigned to investigate Nicole Solem, the fiancee of Naples, Florida banker Keith Melman, who having been cheated once by his former wife is suspicious of Nicole's love. Nicole is also being observed by former chemist Jenna Marisol, who blames Nicole's father for the death of her husband, children and mother. When Nicole's father Nathan was CEO of GEON he persuaded his employees, who included Jenna's husband Aaron, to invest in the company. But Nathan diverted all the company's holdings, causing the company to fail. Aaron lost their money and committed suicide, killing their two daughters in a murder-suicide. Jenna plans to use Nicole as a means to revenge,

Daphne has had deep troubles since the 9/11 tragedy. As an FBI agent, she had been tracking a suspect who eventually had helped hijack a plane which dove into the north tower of the World Trade Center. She had been given no support by her superiors and feels guilty for the tragedy of 9/11. Daphne is assisted by Sam Bryson, an ex-Navy Seal. Sam also has problems with his past. He had an opportunity to kill Bin Laden but aborted the shot to avoid killing a child. Together they try to overcome their guilt while they try to prevent Jenna's plan to leave many CEOs and Nicole dead.

This deep psychological suspense thriller stars two women: Daphne who blames herself for 9/11 and Jenna who has found revenge and death to be the only means to go on with her life. The ramifications of their problems and their struggles to come to terms with them lead to more serious and dangerous consequences. The final confrontation and resolution of the lethal efforts of Jenna's scenario is breathtaking and graphic.
