Deceit

by James Siegel
Read by Dylan Baker

Tom Valle is a journalist full of lies and half-truths. His exaggerated stories cost him his job and his reputation. Now he takes whatever he can to pay the bills. Right now it’s a job in Littleton CA. When he’s assigned to a car accident he expects a typical story, but finds instead a lead to a major cover-up. And it all has to do with an historical flood. Chances are no one will believe him. But does that stop him? Not at all.

Clues unfold slowly, but like Derailed and Detour, Deceit is a fast paced journey full of twists and turns. And Siegel’s descriptions set you center stage for this vivid, thrilling ride.

The audio version is read by actor Dylan Baker. His narration added to the suspense. Baker’s film credits include Random Hearts, Along Came a Spider, The Cell, Thirteen Days, and Happiness. Television work includes Tom Hanks' HBO miniseries From the Earth to the Moon.
