Driven to Murder

by Judith Skillings

In this fast paced mystery, we find Rebecca Moore in places you'd only expect to find a man: starting with being the mechanic on a pit crew for a race car. Rebecca is working at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway trying to help her driver/friend Ian with his car when someone takes a shot at them. This is just one of some mysterious and dangerous events plaguing the team. Is someone after Rebecca or trying to take Ian out of the competition? Perhaps the owner, Peyton Madison, who has problems of his own, has someone chasing him. Either way, Rebecca is determined to get to the bottom of this and see Ian get to race this car.

Rebecca is joined by Mick, a friend (almost boyfriend) and former cop from back home in Maryland. He's been sent out to Indianapolis by Rebecca's lawyer, Jo Delacroix, to make sure that whomever is sabotaging the race team doesn't have Rebecca in mind. There is a wide mix of intriguing characters, including a camera-wielding child that you'll want to protect yourself.

This is a fine mystery with the authors obvious knowledge of the racing world mixed in with the high speed tale she has spun. A thoroughly enjoyable read that will have you racing through the pages to find out the identity of the mysterious stalker.
