Smoky Mountain Tracks
A Raine Stockton Dog Mystery #1

by Donna Ball

Using dogs for rescue in the Smoky Mountain community of Hanover County, North Carolina has been one of Raine Stockton's specialties. However, now that her best friend and best rescue dog ever is gone, she does not have the heart to train another dog. When the call comes from her ex-husband Buck for her and her dog Cisco to join in the search for a missing child there is no way she can refuse, even though she does not believe her two year old golden retriever Cisco is ready.

Soon it is apparent that there is more going on, especially when Raine and Cisco stumble over a dead body. The body of the man everyone believed had the little girl. With no luck finding the girl, the law soon turns the search into retrieval, although Cisco never gives up. Will Cisco prove he is one of the best rescue dogs? While gaining the wholehearted love of his mistress.

Find out in the magnificently written, suspense-filled, all-new Raine Stockton Dog Mystery series. This reviewer is an avid reader of mostly romance novels. However, I must say that this story just grabbed me when I began reading it, and I was unable to put it down until I finished.
