Somewhere Deep in the Night
by Bryan Jernigan
Art, world traveling, Interpol, high tech gadgets, and great characters make up the story
of Somewhere Deep in the Night. We first meet Selina Henry in prison, where she is
propositioned to take a role in helping Interpol find the Sly Fox, a notorious art thief.
Her name and identity is changed, she meets a great man and it only leads to a high paced
read that is a fast and entertaining one. I loved the character development and the
interesting way that the story unfolded. The ending is so good; I wanted to reread the
whole book when I was through with it.
The style in which Bryan Jernigan writes is refreshing. I loved that the story wasn't
overly detailed and the love scenes weren't frivolous. The straightforward style in which
he writes lead me to believe that Jernigan might have had a previous book to check out.
I was delighted to find out that this was his first book. |
