Stinger

by Diana R. Chambers

Buried deep in the mysterious land of Pakistan is the town of Peshawar. It is a town filled with many secrets, for its culture is very untrusting of the outside world. CIA Agent Nick Daley is faced with the difficult task of locating a missing shipment of American Stingers. In the wrong hands these deadly missiles could create grave consequences.

In college, Robin Reeves met Jamal Purrani. She was immediately intrigued by his foreign accent and dark ethnic roots. His good looks and smoldering dark eyes literally took her breath away and drew her to his side. He had come to America to obtain an education; he was born into an Afghanistan ruling Pashtun Clan. Robin and Jamal spent their college years together. Each new day was a whole new adventure. When Jamal graduated, he asked her to return to his country. It was hard to say no to her lover, but in the end she declined his offer. She went on to become a journalist, but Jamal never left her mind or her heart. Years later, her work brought her to Pashawar, Pakistan. Upon her arrival she recalled her days past with Jamal, and she remembered that he was a Pashtun.

Nick and Robin’s paths cross as they find they are on very similar missions. The danger that surrounds them at every corner intensifies their growing feeling for one another. With each new clue that is revealed, all roads lead to Jamal. When they reach their final destination will they find a long lost lover or madman intent on destruction?

Diana R. Chambers writes with intense, thrilling action. The in-depth research she has conducted on the setting greatly enhances the overall plot of this story. This story literally skyrockets with high intense action and will have you guessing right up until the very end. Her smash ending sets her writing a part from other writers, for she knows how to give the ultimate reading pleasure to her fans. Very highly recommended.
