Final Sins
by Michael Prescott
Peter Faust solicits Abby Sinclair,a Los Angeles private security consultant, to find
the man who is stalking his girl friend. Abby is hesitant to take the job because of Faust's reputation. Ten years ago
Faust was caught and arrested for killing a man. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity. Now, he is in Los Angeles
with fame and fortune, attracting a fringe following. Faust believes the stalker is one of his "followers".
Abby feels sorry for the girlfriend and takes the job. She has no trouble tracking the stalker who is an ex-Green Beret,
Mark Brody. He seems to be more than the usual stalker, and it appears that all not as it seems. Abby becomes too close
to Brody.
After he is murdered, Abby is suspected of the crime and has to go on the run from
the FBI, which is investigating Faust, and from her one time friend, Tess McCallum. Abby must learn the truth about Brody's
true connection to the stalker and the reason for his murder.
This is a heart pounding story about a woman's involvement with a cold-blooded evil
man (liken to Charles Manson). The author has delved into the twisted mind of this killer who seems to be able to escape
justice.
The two heroines (Tess and Abby) are compelling and fascinating characters who,
though on opposite sides of the law, still manage a relationship with each other.
A truly suspenseful, well plotted story not to be missed! |
