A Killer’s Kiss

by William Lashner

A Killer’s Kiss by William Lashner is a well written book, but I found it to be a bit slow in places and it never really sparked my interest to make me want to keep reading the book.

During the first few chapters, I was a bit confused by the style of writing; and I am sure that is what detracted from the storyline.

Victor Carl happens to be one of those guys literally in the wrong place at the wrong time, or in his case, with the wrong person. It is never a good idea to get mixed up with the EX-lover while she is still married or accused of killing her husband, but Victor does just that.

Did Julia kill her husband Wren? Who is trying to kill Victor? Are the plots of this story so intertwined that it’s a little of this and a little of that? From the very beginning, it seems all of the people that Victor comes in contact with are part of the outcome. So who killed Wren and why? Is it his business partner, his wife, his wife’s lover, or even his lawyer and longtime friend. Keep reading to unravel this mystery!
