Bailey Weggins is a crime reporter for Buzz, a weekly celebrity gossip magazine. She reports on celebrity
crime and has discovered celebrities not only live large, they misbehave large too.
Chris Wickersham (actor, model, ex-boyfriend of Bailey's) reappears in her life. A friend of his, Tom Fain, and
also a fellow actor on the new TV series Morgue disappeared off the face of the Earth over a week and a half
earlier. The police aren't convinced there's a problem so it's Bailey to whom Chris turns in hopes of solving this
mystery.
Bailey had never once stopped finding Chris staggeringly attractive. The good news in her life is that she's
dating a hottie who's starring in a major TV show. The bad news is she's being stalked, drugged, and marked for
death because she's asking too many questions of too many people.
After Bailey finds Tom murdered, her investigative instincts kick into high gear and she begins to unravel the
mystery of Tom's disappearance and murder. At the same time, Beau Regan re-enters her life and she discovers she
still has feelings for him as well as for Chris. So she strives to unravel the mystery of her conflicting emotions.
Kate White's main character, Bailey Weggins, is an intelligent lady. She's a good journalist and a great
investigator! However, when it comes to her relationships with men, she doesn't seem to have two brain cells to
rub together, and in Lethally Blond I found this to be rather annoying.
However, all in all, Lethally Blond is a well plotted mystery,
an enjoyable who-done-it page turner that will keep you turning
the pages to the bitter end. Kate White is an exceptionally talented
writer and I look forward to her next book.
