Love Me If You Must
Patricia Amble Mystery Series #1

by Nicole Young

Patricia Amble renovates old houses, living in them while she restores them and then moving on to the next one. Her new project is a run down Victorian house in Rawlings, Michigan near Detroit. On the plus side, her new neighbors are two sexy single men, but on the minus side she is convinced that a body is buried in the basement. Soon there is a real dead body down there, and Tish is the number one suspect. But she has already spent several years in prison, so if she wants to stay free she is going to have to find out whodunit.

This will appeal to readers of romances as much as those who enjoy crime fiction, as narrator Tish tries to decide between English computer geek David and policeman Brad. Also, there is the added dimension of this being an inspirational novel, with "lost sheep" Tish meeting those who have faith and wrestling with her own demons. But this is just one aspect of the story, and won’t spoil it for anybody who does not enjoy this type of fiction. Most of the hallmarks of a good cozy can be found in here; soup-bearing neighbors, the friends and foes of small town life, romance etc, as well as the darker side of Tish’s past. It all adds up to an entertaining debut in a new series.
