To Love and To Perish
Annabelle Archer Mystery #3

by Laura Durham

Annabelle Archer is putting together a huge Persian wedding at the Mayflower Hotel. The prestigious Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine is covering the event for its spring issue. If she can pull off this wedding, her company "Wedding Belles" would make it on the Who's Who list of wedding planners. Annabelle's wondering why she can't have one wedding where someone doesn't forget the marriage license, leave the wedding dress in the taxi or set the ballroom on fire. Then she finds herself with an even bigger issue to deal with.

Annabelle finds an old nemesis, Carolyn Crabbe, hanging by a bridal veil in one of the hotel's ballrooms. A dangling corpse was sure to put a damper on the wedding festivities. Carolyn Crabbe may have been an unpleasant, overbearing, control freak, but she would have never let anything ruin a wedding. Chances are - she didn't hang herself.

Soon another wedding planner is found murdered. This isn't looking good for fellow wedding planners.

Someone is murdering Washington D.C.'s wedding planners and Detective Mike Reese believes Annabelle to be the link in the murders. Too close to the murders for comfort, Annabelle and her co-workers try to solve the mystery of who the serial killer of wedding planners could possibly be. Meanwhile, more dead bodies turn up. Can Annabelle solve this mystery before the killer comes for her?

This book kept me guessing to the very end. A fun and humorous cozy mystery. Laura Durham had me laughing out loud on several occasions.I look forward to reading more of her books. She's great!
