Your Chariot Awaits
Andi McConnell Mystery Series, Book 1

by Lorena McCourtney

Andi McConnell is not having a great week. She's lost her job, her boyfriend, and turned the big six-o, all within seven memorable days, before receiving an unexpected gift - a wealthy, eccentric uncle has left her a limousine: big, black, shiny and stretch. She can't resist its charm. Maybe she should open a limo service. It would solve all her problems, wouldn't it?

But the attraction fades when she finds the body of her ex-boyfriend stuffed in the limo trunk, and police look at her with beady eyes, thinking she did it.

As it turns out, her ex isn't the upstanding character she thought she knew, and the list of those wanting him dead just never ends; but it's up to Andi and her new gentleman friend, Fritz, to figure it out before the police arrest her.

This is the first Lorena McCourtney book I've read, and I fell in love with the crazy, normal characters, their witty one-liners, and the clever storyline. This reviewer wants to know - will Andi and Fitz get together? They make quite a pair!

Can't wait to see what McCourtney comes up with next.

Highly recommended.
