Della Wright has traded homes with her childhood friend Matthew Baker. It is a win-win situation for both of them. She will start her new weaving business and he will be closer to work and his current girlfriend. In order to get customers and promote her business, Della is offering classes and will make baby blankets for the nearby hospital. Della is surprised that so many have turned up to make baby blankets - including David Swanson, local realtor with anger management issues. He had a run -in with Jeremy Fox and threatened to kill him!

Now it looks like Matthew will be moving home as he is under contract to write a book. Since the house will not work for the two of them on a long term basis, Della decides to take David up on his offer to check out some local properties. They had to cut short the tour of the one property Della really liked since David's ex-wife and Jeremy Fox were there. Rather than have another run-in David and Della left. They do go back the next morning only to find a dead body in the smallest bedroom. Della feels responsible for being at the scene of the murder, since David will likely be the prime suspect. Will she be able to find the killer or will she just end up warped?

Things to ponder: Who did the victim meet the night he was murdered? Was it really an accident that killed Dolores's husband - or was it murder? Why did Mike really divorce Jenny?

I really love it when I find a new series and can't put down the book until I finish it. There are quirky characters and red herrings that will keep you turning the pages. I really hope the author is busy writing and plotting the next weaving mystery. If you need a fix before the next book is out, check out another good read: Getting Skinny by Monique Domovitch who just also happens to write under the name Carol Ann Martin. So if you like to get crafty with your mysteries, then you should read Looming Murder.
