Georgie Nikolopatos runs, Bonaparte House, a Greek restaurant and historic landmark located in upstate New York. Right now it is the busiest time of year. Tourists are everywhere. Georgie is up to her eyeballs in work. Her husband Spiro has taken off again and leaves her to deal with the Ghost Squad. Ghost Squad is a TV show that investigates paranormal activity. Spiro thinks the house is haunted. So far the only unusual thing Georgie has found …is Spiro in the closet. They have a marriage in name only. Georgie is worried about losing her job since a divorce is inevitable. This is a Nikolopatos-owned business and Georgie thinks her mother-in-law will make her leave if she and Spiro get divorced.

Georgie is going to spend the night with her friend. This will give the investigators plenty of space to check out any ghostly activity in the house. No water taxi is in sight, so when Keith Morgan offers Georgie a ride on his boat - she accepts. First Keith takes them for a short ride. Georgie sees something floating in the water. She fears it might be Spiro. Keith dives in the water and turns the body over - it is Domenic "Big Dom" DiTomasso. Big Dom is the Bonaparte House's biggest competitor. This is not a simple drowning. Big Dom's skull has a big dent in it. When the police put Georgie and Spiro at the top of the suspect list, Georgie know she will have to investigate. She had better be very careful of Greeks bearing gifts.

Things to ponder: Who is sending the threatening emails? Why did Spiro leave his cell phone behind? Is there really a fortune hidden in Bonaparte House? Is Spiro mixed up in a shady business deal? How did Big Dom end up so close to the mouth of the Devil's Oven without a boat?

This is a fun new series that doesn't disappoint. This well-plotted, page-turner of a read will keep you guessing until the very end. I found I could not put this book down. Cozy mystery lovers will love getting to know the characters while solving a murder. The author has thoughtfully provided some yummy recipes. So, if you like your mystery with a Mediterranean flair, then you should be reading Feta Attraction.
