Rock Point, Oregon is prime
kite flying area, but when the murder of a judge happens just
before the annual kite festival, no one is above suspicion.
Emmy
Adler owns and runs “Strings Attached”, a kite
shop she opened and needs publicity for. Of course, Emmy isn’t
the killer, but there is no shortage of suspects! Jasmine
Normand has upset enough people that almost anyone could have
killed her. Her husband, a co-star from a TV series, a crazed
stalker...it could be anyone!
Emmy
works to figure out who the real murderer is while dealing
with personal and professional issues enough to tie anyone’s
kite strings in a knot!
This
is only the second book in this series, and I’m already
emotionally attached to the main characters and just love
the setting in Oregon.
If you
haven’t read the first book in the series, Blown
Away, I’d recommend you get a copy of that book
as well as this new one. It isn’t necessary because
you can read this as a stand-alone, but having both books
on hand will bring that much extra reading joy your way!
Author
Clover Tate has me reeled in and I’m looking forward
to many more books in this series!
