Discovering
Veronica
By Shannon
Greenland
Discovering
Veronica is the writing debut for Ms. Greenland. It introduces the
reader to Veronica Burns who is attempting a fresh start on life.
Veronica starts working at an elite private school under Dr. Rico
DeAngelo. Dr. DeAngelo has an adorable little girl who immediately
is taken with Veronica and Veronica is taken by her. Soon after
she begins working, Veronica is haunted by a stalker who also attempts
to take something that is precious to Rico. Rico and Veronica have
to work and trust each other to overcome their odds with each other
and to combat the stalker.
Discovering
Veronica follows a typical romantic scenario with a slight twist
of what Veronica does for a living. This book is not dry and does
keep the reader interested in the story. The romance between Veronica
and Rico is endearing and provides hope to readers. The plot of
the stalker could have been more developed in order to give the
reader more concern about Veronica's safety. The scenery of the
story does not add or take away from the story. The fact that it
is an island provides some suspense to the story. Overall, this
is a good start for Ms. Greenland.
