Escapade for One
By Jewel Stone

Amanda Jordan and her clients go to a remote cabin in the Montana Rockies for a romantic weekend.

The calm of their stay is disrupted when Rhett Porter tracks Oliver Redding, an escaped murderer, to their area. The situation is further complicated when a mountain storm forces them to abandon their cabin and head for civilization. It is up to Rhett to lead the group down the mountain to safety.

Redding follows the group, taunting them. They don't realize that Amanda is his target. He is really Gary Hammond, Amanda's ex-husband who is bent on revenge.

This is a cleverly plotted story of romance and suspense. The characters are developed with their all too human weaknesses.

The flight down the mountain is an exhilarating adventure with thrills and accidents along the way.

The plot is full of suspense with the relationship between Amanda and Rhett placed in peril by Amanda's past relationship. The contacts between Amanda and Redding (Hammond) are chilling and riveting.

There are sexual situations which are treated with good taste.
