     Emma Taylor never expected that her thirtieth birthday would leave her life spinning out of control. Overnight, she finds herself evicted from her Manhattan apartment, passed over for a promotion, and suffering an unexpected break up with her boyfriend. Her friends add the icing to her “perfect” birthday by giving her a gift of breast-enhancing pills.

     Forced to live in the back seat of her car, she sets out to find a new apartment that she will be able to afford on her meager secretary’s salary. Her stepmother’s brother Jack has a solution to her problems by offering her the opportunity to be her landlord. Jack is certainly not one of her top ten people, but out of desperation she accepts his offer. Will this small ray of sunshine signal brighter days ahead?

     Michelle Cunnah’s debut novel is a perfect “10.” It’s fresh laugh-out-loud appeal will leave you in stitches. I predict this author’s name will soon skyrocket in popularity. She is sure to become a legend in the romance gene. Very highly recommended.
