Desire’s Promise

    Kendrick was never one to welsh on a wager until he met the lovely Princess Isabeau. Once he sets eyes on the woman, he vows no other will have her. Isabeau however has other plans, but cannot deny the fire in her blood when Kendrick is near. War turns Isabeau into a queen and she fights bravely beside her people. When she becomes a prisoner bound for England, she holds her head high. Kendrick uses all his skills to turn her heart his way. Isabeau becomes a prisoner to love and so very much more.

     Pride is a powerful emotion and each must deal with their own. When an unknown foe threatens Isabeau, Kendrick stops at nothing to protect her and vows to kill any who touches her. Hate and love clash from all sides as the two strive to build a life together that will be accepted not only on his side, but hers as well.

     I very much enjoyed this romance. Once again Tracy Ranson has not disappointed in the least. An extremely touching story of two lovers meeting and defeating the odds. Isabeau is a woman many readers will relate to. This story enchanted me from the beginning to the very end. I will definitely look forward to more from this wonderful author.
