For
the Love Of Maggie
(Review
2)
By Fran Shaff
Kayla Franklin is
aware that the repairs she needs for her farm will require an expert,
so she hires Roth Simons to complete the carpentry work. It is love
at first sight when they meet and the instantaneous attraction has
her making plans for the future. She wants to share her entire life
with Rose by introducing him to her five-year-old daughter Maggie.
Roth Simons
believes he has found the perfect woman in Kayla Franklin, but upon
meeting her daughter, he cannot control his initial reaction when
he sees that the child has Down syndrome. He is questioning if he
will be able to handle a child with such a severe disability. He
knows in order for he and Kayla to have a future, he must accept
all aspects of her life. Will he have the courage to face his fears
by showing her he is the man she deserves?
Fran
Shaff has written a deeply emotional work of art. This heartwarming
tale will have you shedding tears of sadness and joy as you grow
to discover the warmth these characters radiate. Shaff has written
a beautiful story that will have you questioning if it is fact or
fiction. Her descriptive passages take you deep into the heart of
the story. I feel this story deserves to be turned into a Hallmark
Movie classic.
