A Home for Christmas
Angel Ridge Series
By Deborah Grace-Staley

A Home for Christmas is the second book in the Angel Ridge series and an absolutely delightful way to get into the holiday spirit. The book tells the tale of a magical small town romance between two people who have to transcend personal baggage to find true love.

Janice Thornton is a physician who comes to visit the small charming town of Angel Ridge, invited by an uncle she has never met, who is also the town physician. He wants to retire and offers her his town practice.

Blake Ferguson has a smile that should be registered as a lethal weapon. He is the local contractor/carpenter and is the current owner of Janice's grandparents' home. He is in the process of restoring the home to its former glory and would like to fill the house with a wife and children, but he needs a wife. Blake literally falls hard (from a ladder) for Janice the first time he meets her. While spending the Christmas holidays with her uncle, both Blake and Janice realize that they are falling for each other.

Janice is faced with the dilemma of deciding between a big city partnership in a medical group or a small town practice and the love of a wonderful man.

This is a well written, uplifting romance that I most highly recommend.
