Mr.
October
By Charlotte Vye
As the publicist in
charge of the Firefighters’ Charity Calendar, Grace Whitney
was proud. The calendar was completed, and looked great. Raising
money for the hospital’s burn unit was a very important event,
and she was working hard to meet the CEO’s demands. But once
she laid eyes on Mr. October, well, she had no worries. The man
was gorgeous. The women would certainly contribute.
When Rory
Crewe walked into her office, right away she just knew she was looking
at a bad boy. He turned on the charm and the donations just rolled
in. His eyes promised a lady untold passions. But this bad boy had
eyes for only one lady. Would she ever see him as something other
than the sexy, woman-hungry man he only pretended to be? Rory wants
Grace, but loses ground the longer he has to play a role. He tells
her he loves her but Grace refuses to believe it. Why should she?
But when the cards are all on the table,
Grace takes a chance, only to be heartbroken. Can Rory make it up
to her? Will she believe him anyway? Realizing he would lose the
most important thing in his life, Rory takes some chances of his
own.
Hats Off To Charlotte Vye !!!! What an absolutely
wonderful read. Heartfelt, sensual, spicy, and above all, a good
dose of humor. This one is most definitely a keeper.
