The Rocky Road to Romance
By Janet Evanovich

Daisy Adams is a busy woman. Taking care of her 14 year old brother, working 5 jobs, writing cookbooks for dogs, and writing her dissertation keeps Daisy busy 24-7. Throw her attractive boss, Steve Crow into the middle of things and Evanovich knows how to heat things up.

This book is the perfect treat to take on vacation or to read when you need a little fun in your life. Evanovich has created loveably quirky characters that aren't your run of the mill romance novel faire. She's also skillfully woven in an action plot which compliments and enhances the romance.

Even though the antics of some of the characters gets rather screwball at times; (a gun toting granny and a sexy sports car everyone leaves underwear on) underneath the insanity is a genuine aspect that everyone can relate to. This little gem will delight audiences and keep the pages turning to see how everything turns out. This book has a few intimate scenes but they're not gratuitous.

The Rocky Road to Romance is a quirky novel that will keep you interested as well as giving you a hearty chuckle. This is an excellent choice for the reader who's in the mood for a lighthearted romance and doesn't want too many graphic details.
